This book has been a loving journey. It would not have been possible if I had not been left a small stack of letters tucked away in a shoebox. I compiled those letters with my parent’s memoirs, “Decisions, Decisions, Decisions” memoir of William B. Rose and “Distant Recall” memoir of Mary Margaret Cline Rose. The memoirs were written by Marg and Bill and the information contained in them is assumed to be their writings and not the writings of any outside source, except where noted.
